Firstly I would like to offer my congratulations to all the boy’s for a truly magnificent 2011 season and the great work that was done by Dom Allen. As most of you know, Dom is moving up to manage the Under 15 age group next season and it has fallen on the new coaching team to continue to build on the very solid foundations that he has left us. 

With this in mind I am contacting all players and parents who I know are still eligible to play under 13 cricket next term.  If you could email me and let me know if you intend to play for Pudsey Congs in 2012 that would be great. Also if you have a new phone number or email address, would you please let me know

Parents also have a big role to play next year if we are to continue to be successful. I will be looking for volunteers to help with such tasks as scoring, raffle ticket sellers, match day reporters, help with admin etc and not forgetting bringing me cups of tea and bacon sarnies. 

One thing I would like all parents to think about is sponsorship. In the past I have managed to get a shirt sponsor for the teams that I have coached and managed. I know times are hard but if anyone knows any millionaires who would like to sponsor Pudsey Congs under 13's next season that would be great.
