Sam Wisniewski

Out To -

During his career at Pudsey Congs, Sam collected wickets for fun and put his whole being into every delivery. A left arm wrist spinner, he bemused batters with his flight, speed and turn, and rarely failed to bowl his full allocation of overs. Sam reads the game really well and indeed Captained Yorkshire Under 17's to win the national award. I can only remember him dropping one catch for he was quick to the ball and had a powerful throw to cause batters to take care.

Cricket means a great deal to him and he works tirelessly to further his career in the game as a player, coach and Captain. He played one match for YCCC first Xl at Old Trafford, bowling 2 overs.

He leaves our Cricket Club for a player coach role with Wakefield Thornes and we wish him all the best!

Out To -

JB joined us in 2020 and proved quickly to be a great addition to the squad. His glovework always competing with the best keepers in the BCL and crucial runs were key in our bid for promotion.

Josh has already moved to London to further his career and experience something new... and we wish him all the best as he joins Middlesex Premier League club Teddington.

Adam Pearson

Out To -

Adam returns to East Ardsley for 2025 after 3 seasons with us. AP works harder than anyone at his game, and he left arm seam bowling was a real boost to our attack in 2022 and his contribution was telling as we gained promotion to the premier league. Adam experienced a tough last couple of seasons with injuries, but never took a backward step. Bowling at some of the best players in the league both up top and at the death, he always took on the challenge and continued to learn and grow.

Go well back at your home club AP, and don't be a stranger!

Jamie Allen

Bilton.jpg

Out To -

Jamie is making the move to Aire-Wharfe side Bilton for the 2025 season. "Jez" played junior cricket @ Congs and progressed through the senior teams, taking the new ball for the 1st XI, and being instrumental in our return to the premier league in 2022, and survival in 2023. Although he will be missed for his fiery on-field persona, his contribution off-field is where there are big shoes to fill.

From everyone here Pudsey Congs... thank you for everything you've done to take the club forward and go well in 2025 and beyond!

Ryan Heptinstall

Bilton.jpg

Out To -

Ryan has always had ambitions to be captain, and he has made the move to Bilton to take on the job. When he arrived at Congs he threw himself into it and fit nicely in to the cricket family. Ryan has been extremely consistent for us with the ball bowling his left arm spin, and saw impressive returns as we pushed to return to the top flight. As vice captain under Jubb from 2020 onwards, his support and commitment to keep the team improving were invaluable.

Ryan... thanks for everything! Go well skip!
